| I am a girl who writes constantly. I'm from Brooklyn, New York. Ah, New York...the city that never lets me sleep and I actually like it that way. I have to admit that I'm sometimes embarrassed to say that I'm a "writer" because I don't get paid for it...yet. I do know that's definitely not important and I'm slowly coming out of my shell, shedding the skin that had me believing that's the only way you could consider yourself a writer. This year has been pivotal for me with the birth of my memoir which I'm in the process of finishing. I recently found a diary I kept when I was in third grade to which one entry said, "I can't wait to grow up and be a teacher and an author." Well, I'm half way there! I'm a teacher and am now getting ready to officially wear my author's hat. What you will read here are excerpts from my book. Please feel free to comment and befriend me.
