Portfolio Description:
I'm Gwen Madoc, published author of twelve novels of historical romance and family sagas. I was first published in 1997 when I had two books out that year. I have had a book out each year since.
The eras I write about at mid 19th. century to early 20th century - 20s and 30s. My heroines are fiesty young women struggling in a man's world against explotation and poverty; looking to make a decent life for themselves and hopefully to find true love. While my heroines are happy to find love if they can, my books are not about romance. Instead they explore the darker side of human nature - greed, lust, revenge and even murder. | ||||||||
