I am a freelance writer, author and poet. I write everything from articles to web content.

My specialty areas include: natural health, green living, gardening, crafts and wedding planning. I am a trained bridal consultant and certified floral designer that specializes in weddings. One of my passions is helping brides-to-be plan weddings on a budget. My other passions include natural health and green living. I am also contributing editor for the Natural Health and Beauty site at GardenandHearth.com, www.gardenandhearth.com/natural-health-beauty.htm the site focuses on natural and alternative medicine, gardening, and green living.

I am an active environmentalist, animal lover, and conservationist and is a proud member of such organizations as Greenpeace, Environmental Defense and the ASPCA.

My writing has appeared in several local magazines and newspapers and on many web sites including Clubmom.com where I was formerly a go-to mom and part of the mom answers team.

My wedding articles have appeared on the sites fairytaleweddingshop.com, allweddingideas.com, wedding.net, myweddinghq.com, associatedcontent.com in addition to her GardenandHearth.com site Wedding Planning for the Budget Bride. My green living articles have appeared on GardenandHearth.com, and AssociatedContent.com .

My first book, The Everything Green Wedding Book, will be out in December 2008.
