About Me
| About Me: | |
| I was born in Chicago, IL but moved to Phoenix, AZ when I was fifteen and consider Arizona my home. At the time when I moved, Phoenix was not nearly the size it is today. It was smaller and had that “Old West” feel. It was here when I started developing a passion for horses and Western history. I currently live on a mini-ranch in Queen Creek, AZ and spend time writing, collecting old western movies and riding caring for my five horses. I enjoy taking long trail rides in the desert and mountains I published my first novel in April of 2008 titled "The Horseman." A story about a young imigrant named Tom Blandini who leaves the cosmopolitan life of New Orleans to become a rancher in Arizona. In 1885, Tom travels to El Paso, TX to purchase horses for improving and growing his herd. When he cannot return to his Arizona ranch by railroad, Tom sets out to make the 300 mile trek back via horseback with his new herd. Along the way, the young and inexperienced rancher has brushes with outlaws and battles to keep his herd together during major storms. Upon receiving news that Tom is riding home, Dominique, Tom's beautifull and impetuous young wife, will set out with the ranch's trusted foreman Rafael to meet Tom on the trail and help in his return.
