I have been informed that wonderlands is shutting down due to the fact that ning has gone to a premium service. I don't have a good recommendation for fantasy writers to network at but if anyone else has one they would like to recommend they can leave me a private message and I'll check it out.

I would like to recommend the following additional social networking sites: http://writersworld.spruz.com/ (a site run by a friend) and The Writer's Box http://thewritersbox.ning.com/ (also run by a friend) and www.writerface.com for possible contacts and learning oportunities.

I am recommending yWriter, a free novel writing tool available at www.spacejock.com for people who are writing novels. I have found this tool to be very effective in helping me to organize my latest attempt at a novel.

Because I like things that are free I've been experimenting with openoffice from www.sunmicrosystems.com/ I'm not overly impressed but again if your budget is tight then this office suite of programs is not too bad.
