About Me:
You run through the burning forest as embers rain down on you, sometimes in tiny specks, other times in huge chunks of tree branches. You choke for clean air, the purer the better. The heat bakes the sweat onto you like a second skin. You snag your pants on the knee cap, but you keep running. You escape the burning forest of life.

Outside the forest, you find a vast valley of ash and ruin. You say to yourself, "What the hell happened here?" The ash, as if answering, begins to shift and fluctuate. You find a body emerging from the ashes and try to flee again. But your legs won't budge. You're stuck there, helpless to do anything other than watch the ash become flesh. You see a pair of eyes awaken as if from a long sleep. Soon all the ash is gone, replaced by a dry landscape. And me. I am reborn.

Above all, I am a scribe first and foremost. I've come to realize as I enter my 30's that all I do must go to support the realm of literature in some fashion or another. I hope to achieve this in the novel form, but in the meantime I lay seeds around to cultivate this landscape, making it into a lush world where one may go to enjoy unpolluted air, pristine water, and harmonious land. My Grayworld Duties include going to work in fast food and earning a paycheck, but when I am in ScribeWorld I can be so much more, to myself and to the people who choose to visit. It is my deepest wish that I can make you comfortable in my ScribeWorld, though I realize I may have scared you off with that burning forest. (Sometimes a landlord must take drastic action against a mischievious elf who refuses to pay rent.)

So pull up a chair, kick back, relax, and enjoy a blueberry scone. There are always scones in ScribeWorld. But no establishment to charge absurd amounts of paper currency for said scones. It is my intention to make your visits to ScribeWorld numerous and content. If I fail in any way, do let me know so I can try harder. Writing is my life.
