I'm impressed. I read a couple of your pieces and you have a spirit burning inside you that shines through in your writing. Lukewarm was a damn good piece of fiction - powerful and meaningful. Lots of memorable lines: I never saw her face, but I always heard her heart. and She held a darkness that whispered in my ear and It was pale, her face, and yet glorious. I like how you had a message, but you didn't shove it down our throats. Specificity To The Sketch was also a cool little piece with a wicked twist. Nice work, Joe.

Hi joe just called by to say hi- haven't read all your work today as I am moving house and in a heat-wave so trying to catch the early morning immediacy of doing the most work. I can't say I like horror- but you are writing in a way that does create what you are intending. Keep up your imaginative narrative- good work.
Cheers, BrendaVN

About Me

About Me:
Well, I am a college Freshmen at a college.  I enjoy writing horror pieces, but tend to digress as well to the essay genre.  I am looking for any help in my works, and do plan to post more writings at time permits. Freaking Biology! Ugh!  I am an English Major pursuing a bachelor's and possibly a master's in english.  It would be great some day to relax, sit back, and enjoy an ambience of fiction each and every day and be able to support myself and a few other people, maybe, with my writings and hopefully novels!  Any feedback would be great.    Enjoy! Portfolio Description:
I tend to focus on the psyche of horror stories. What it is that develops a mood or sensation into despair, fear, malevolence, ambiguity, insanity, and all that goes into horror. The stories I provide are nothing but attention getters. It is up to you to dig deep under the sepulcher to find the truth and meaning behind them!
