| Welcome!
My name is Wayne Huxhold and I am the author of "From Roots to Branches (A Journey Through the Tree of Life)". I am a poet, an author and an artist. I share studio and living space with my lovely wife, the ceramic sculptor Dianna Huxhold. Our home, our relationship and our individual lives are anchored by the experiences of exploration and growth found in the process of creativity. I am pleased to have this opportunity to share my experiences with you. Warmly, Wayne Wayne's podcast interview hosted by Janette Merrill of the "Birthing Soul" section of PsychJourney Podcasts |

| Abstract: | For just a moment, Wayne Huxhold laid down his mundane and burdensome life. He just wanted to know what it would feel like to have his toes buried in the forest floor. He closed his eyes to imagine it, having no idea that it would sprout him into a mystical and life-changing journey through the Tree of Life. "From Roots to Branches" is the account of his psychological, spiritual, and mythic journey of radical transformation. As Wayne began to explore the ever-growing depths of his roots, he began to uncover truths and wisdoms that he could neither deny or ignore. Truths and wisdoms that conflicted with the self-manufactured reality of all he believed was true. His very identity was challenged and eventually collapsed, freeing up space for new life to emerge. A new life based on fresh growth, feeding from his depths and reaching out into spaces never before occupied. ![]() |
